Grab a pair of binoculars and a book on the local birds in your area and your ready to begin the enjoyment of Birding. Some people have what they call a “life list” which is a record of all the birds they have positively identified. The life list is not to be taken lightly and folks will travel around the globe to birding hot spots in the hopes of checking off that rare species from their “must see” list.
